What is UCO?
UCO or Uganda Communities Online is a subscription based service that provides low cost websites for nonprofit organisations in Uganda.
UCO also may offer other services that are governed by different Terms of services.

What kind of information does UCO provide?
UCO provides information about Charities, Community Projects and Churches in Uganda. You can also search the UCO database for organisations or churches that are involved in specific areas of charity.

How does an organisation or an education institution get listed on UCO?
UCO lists Charities, Community Projects and Churches in Uganda for free. However, UCO also provides additional services and benefits to member orgnisations.

How does an organisation become a member of UCO?
Membership to UCO is by subscription.

How much does it cost to subscribe to UCO?
Subscription to UCO is only 80,000 Uganda shillings for a year, with a 20% discount if you pay for 2 years.

Are there any other fees besides the annual subscription?
No. There are no extra fees charged on top of the annual subscription.

How do I update pages on my UCO site?
To add, change, or remove information on your UCO pages, you must login to your account using the user name and password that you received when you signed up.

What if an organisation already has a website?
If an organisation has an existing website, UCO adds 2 great benefits: first, you can take advantage of the UCO news feature, which allows you to easily post news and updates directly to your website. This greatly saves on update costs. Secondly, your site will get improved search engine rankings which make your chances of being found on the Internet even better.

How Does my organisation sign up for UCO?
You sign up by filling and submitting the UCO application form, together with the subscription fee. You have three options:
- Subscribe online: simply fill the online inquiry form and submit it.
- Download the online application form: fill it and then email it to uco@uco.co.ug.
- Visit our Offices: come to our offices or go to your nearest UCO agent.
After you make payments, the application will immediately be processed.

How do I make payments?
- Bank the money to any Stanbic Bank Uganda branch. Details will be sent to you by email or on telephone.
- Bring the payment to our offices.
- Must an organisation have computers in order to sign up for UCO?
No. An organisationl can still sign up for UCO even if they do not have computers.
